Endorsements

HyMeX is endorsed by the two major international programmes of WMO dealing with weather prediction research and climate research.

HyMeX is endorsed by the Joint Scientific Committee (JSC) of the World Weather Research Program (WWRP) and more specifically by the WWRP-THORPEX programme.

HyMeX is endorsed by the World Climate Research Program (WCRP).
HyMeX research on the global hydrological cycle and prediction of its evolution is carried out under the umbrella of the WCRP-GEWEX programme as a Regional Hydro-climate Project (RHP).
HyMeX regional climate modelling activities contribute for the Mediterranean region (MED-CORDEX) to the Coordinated Downscaling Experiment (CORDEX) initiative of WCRP which aims at improving international coordination on regional climate downscaling.
