HyMex in France
In France, HyMeX is part of the MISTRALS cluster that coordinates multidisciplinary research programmes on the Mediterranean related to the atmosphere, hydrosphere, biosphere and lithosphere, with objectives to improve the prediction of the evolution of life conditions in this hot-spot for environmental and climate changes.

Within MISTRALS, HyMeX is supported by the National Institute for Earth Science and Astronomy (INSU) of CNRS on behalf of the French research organisations on the environment: BRGM, CNES, CNRS INSU, INRA, IRSTEA, Météo-France.
